Spectrum Smash Arena is a browser game operated by Inner Site Solutions. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to get it deleted. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
You can play without an account. Guest progress — your coins, cards, deck and rating — is saved only in your own browser's storage. We do not keep a guest profile on our servers. Clearing your browser's site data erases that progress permanently, and we cannot restore it; signing in is what makes your progress recoverable.
Signing in (with Google, or with an email address and password) stores the following on our server:
When the game hits an error in your browser, it sends us a report so we can fix it. This happens for all players, including guests. A report contains the error message and location, the game version, your browser's user-agent string, and your IP address (which our web server, like all web servers, records with each request). We use these reports only to diagnose faults — for example, to learn that the game fails to load on a particular type of phone. We do not use them to build a profile of you or to track you across sites.
If you turn on notifications, your browser issues a subscription address that allows us to send push messages to that browser, and we store it so that we can. We use it only for game notifications. You can stop them at any time by turning notifications off in the game or in your browser settings, and you can ask us to delete the stored subscription using the contact address below.
The game currently contains no advertising. The "ad break" screens are placeholders: no ad network is connected, and no advertising or tracking data is collected. If we introduce real ads, we will update this policy to name the ad provider and describe what it collects before those ads go live.
Your display name, rating, rank, guild and deck are visible to other players through the leaderboard and through matchmaking (opponents can be played against as AI-piloted "ghosts" of your saved deck). Your email address is never shown to other players.
We use Google Sign-In to verify Google logins; if you use it, your interaction with Google is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Push notifications are delivered through the push service operated by your browser's vendor (for example Google, Mozilla, or Apple). Our servers are hosted on infrastructure we rent for this purpose. We do not send your personal data to anyone else.
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Error reports and the ranked match log are operational records and are kept while they remain useful for diagnosing problems and policing cheating; they are rotated and overwritten in the ordinary course.
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
You can ask us for a copy of the data held under your account, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything stored with it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honour these requests regardless of where you live.
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. Material changes — such as introducing advertising — will be described here before they take effect.
